How does a DPM become a member of the Network?

Doctors of Podiatric Medicine who are positive about their profession, despite the challenges of the day, are invited to make application to become a member. However, to ensure that Mentors possess key qualifications, we are asking that they be nominated by their state society. Unfortunately, we have found in some cases that the negative attitudes of Doctors have served to undermine the mission of the colleges. Generally, state societies know the podiatrists within their state and can provide a degree of assurance that the Mentor does indeed possess the necessary qualifications.

Once you submit the application form, it will be forwarded to your state society. They will in turn endorse or not endorse you for participation in the Network. Once endorsed you will be automatically placed in the roster of Mentors on the AACPM Web. Those not endorsed will be notified by the AACPM.
